About Me

As a passionate cat owner and dedicated pet care professional, I understand the deep bond we share with our feline friends. I offer personalised and attentive care that’s as unique as your cat.  I believe every cat has a story to tell, and I’m here to listen and ensure they feel cherished and comfortable.

In the past, I volunteered at a rehoming centre, where I worked with a variety of animals, but my heart has always belonged to cats, I believe they choose us and not the other way around. My own journey began when a stray cat, heavily pregnant, wandered into my garden and won me over with a single meow. Since then she has become my beloved companion and joy.

At Kitty Yarns, I understand how crucial it is to ensure your pets are well cared for while you’re away. You can trust that I will treat your cats with the same love and attention I give my own. From feeding, grooming, administering medication to playing and maintaining their litter trays, I’ll follow your instructions precisely, providing plenty of cuddles while respecting their individual personalities. I bring a full range of toys, including laser pens, strings, and plenty of other fun games, to keep your kitty entertained and happy throughout each visit.

Having managed and resolved territorial issues with my own cats, I am well-versed in feline behaviour. I understand the importance of reading their body language and the reasons behind their actions. This expertise allows me to be attentive to your cat’s needs, ensuring they are happy and content while respecting their own timing and space.

In addition to caring for your cats, I can also assist with keeping your home safe and secure. My services include opening and closing blinds, adjusting lights, picking up mail, and watering plants, giving you peace of mind knowing your home is well-maintained.

To ensure your peace of mind, I will send you regular updates with photos and videos during each visit. I am DBS checked, certified in Cat Care Level 2 (VTQ), and trained in Pet First Aid Level 2.
