Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with Kitty Yarns.
We aim to make your experience smooth and reliable — from checkout to delivery.

Processing Times

All orders are processed and dispatched within 1 working day (Monday to Friday).
During busy periods such as holidays, sales, or high-volume seasons, dispatch may take up to 3 working days.

You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been shipped.


Delivery Method & Timeframe

NOTE: Last Christmas shipping date is 16th December

We use Royal Mail Tracked 48 for all UK Mainland deliveries.
This service typically delivers within 2 working days after dispatch.

  • Delivery Service: Royal Mail Tracked 48
  • Estimated Delivery Time: 2–3 working days total (including processing)
  • Tracking: You’ll receive a tracking link once your order is dispatched.

Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on Royal Mail operations, especially during public holidays, industrial action, or severe weather.


Shipping Rates

Local Delivery (HP1, HP2 & HP3)

  • Free local delivery for orders within postcodes HP1, HP2, and HP3.
  • Delivery days and times may vary depending on location and availability.

UK Mainland

  • Flat delivery rate of £3.95 for all orders.
  • Free delivery on orders of £25 or more — automatically applied at checkout.

From time to time, additional free-shipping promotions may be available, clearly advertised on our website or social media.


Delivery Areas

We currently ship within the United Kingdom (Mainland only).
Orders are delivered Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays.

  • Unfortunately, we do not deliver to the following locations:
  • Scottish Highlands & Islands
  • Isle of Man
  • Channel Islands (Jersey & Guernsey)
  • Isles of Scilly
  • Northern Ireland

If an order is placed with a delivery address in one of these areas, it will be cancelled and refunded in full.

We also do not deliver to PO Boxes, Parcel Lockers, BFPO (British Forces) addresses, or any international destinations outside the UK.


Delays or Missing Parcels

If your parcel has not arrived within 5 working days of dispatch, please check your tracking link first.
If you still need help, contact us at kittyyarns@gmail.com with your order number, and we’ll investigate with Royal Mail.

While we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by Royal Mail or external factors, we’ll always do our best to help resolve any delivery issues promptly.


Address Accuracy

Please ensure your shipping address is correct before confirming your order.
We cannot guarantee redelivery or refunds for parcels returned or lost due to incorrect or incomplete address details provided at checkout.
